Master bath remodel in Hudson, NH with tile shower and custom floor pattern

Homeowners had fire and used insurance to remodel entire house. Starting with their master bath. They had a framing company install studs to enlarge their master bath. Making a shower area with commode. And then adjoining a dry station for makeup with vanity. And walking closet. Couple had a local tile shop design a floor tile and wall layout for custom shower remodel in Hudson, New Hampshire. And sourced tile material for job. We started preparation with Ditra uncoupling membrane over subfloor. To be used in conjunction with a Schluter radiant heat system to be wired underneath tile. Installed cement board on shower walls and ceiling. Taped and mudded joints and seams. And applied 3 coats of Laticrete HydroBan waterproofing. Then floated a Portland cement and sand mix dry pack with a 1/4" slope towards new drain flange. The tile design layout drawings called for a custom baseboard cut out of 12x12 pished porcelain tile. And then a pencil liner border installed just above that.  W

Triple basketweave pattern tile backsplash install in Londonderry, NH

Got a call from a local NH kitchen & bath designer that wanted a custom pattern tile layout for kitchen backsplash in Londonderry, New Hampshire. She was interested in a triple basketweave design with 2x6" ceramic tile. First we had to safely remove an outdated travertine tile mosaic backsplash that was previously installed a decade ago. We then put up new cement board for the wall substrate. Taped the seams and mudded over screws. We wanted the tile pattern to wrap seamlessly around the kitchen. As there were 4 wall sections that the tile was to be installed. So she wanted pattern to carry over in a corner wrap to the next wall. We had to insure all cuts were uniform. And grout lines maintained pattern layout in corners. We opted to tile up and over kitchen window to give the backsplash a more complete look. Herringbone tile backsplash install in Windham, New Hampshire

Customer removed their old kitchen backsplash and then called us for a quote to install herringbone tile backsplash in Windham, New Hampshire. We installed new cement board in the area that tile was removed. Then a bunch of baseline cuts were done prior to starting installation. So the line where tile meets counter would be straight and flush. Started in corner to create a seamless wrap of the tile. So the herringbone tile layout pattern would carry mirrored on both sides of wall. We cleaned up the fresh set tile the next day. Removed any leftover mortar out the joints. And grouted the tile backsplash. Call Matt Cupan TileWorks for your tile backsplash installation  (603)785-0869
