... Matt Cupan gets a call to remove leaking tile shower. After another contractor work failed, and they refused customer to go back to remedy.

Let's plan something solid. Be tedious and deliberate in our approach to detail aesthetic in bath remodeling. Within reason, that we are all human.
No job by no person can be perfect. But we sure will pursue a tilework endeavor that we labor of love. Pride in our trade

Leaking tile shower repair with remodel waterproof prep

Homeowners in Bedford, New Hampshire had their master bath remodeled a couple years ago, by another contractor. They were unhappy with the awkward grout lines, gaps. And really upset when the shower was leaking to the ceiling underneath.

We were called to inspect and uncovered improper waterproofing underneath the tile. And a bunch of rotted wood we replaced.

Customer decided for a full tear out and a rebuild. With some different tile choices.

We installed waterproof wall panels. A mud shower pan covered in Laticrete HydroBarrier waterproof membrane.

And backed our workmanship with a written 10 year warranty.

A tumbled pebble stone was used for shower floor. With a new Laticrete drain.

Customer picked out a glass picket tile for a "waterfall" design on the niche wall.

We cleaned off, and custom cut their old shower bench seat stone top. And reinstalled.
Homeowner pleaded for us to try and recycle for reuse on their new build. Reason being how the white stone piece was initially a hard find, pricey and a pain on shipping process. We obliged and were happy to utilize rather than a material scrapped to the dump.

We referred customer to a local glass installer for shower door.
Who were able to use same door we salvaged from initial removal.
