 Mosaic tile became popular in 1920s with Art Deco influence in American Architecture. And still today, in modern New construction, bathroom floors are adorned with same tile patterns, shapes and sizes. This west Manchester, New Hampshire home was built in 2023 with an octagon mosaic tile floor for bathroom installed by us. We installed this mosaic tile floor over quarter inch cement board. That was then coated in a liquid anti-fracture membrane. With a second application applied for water resistance. Being the bathroom was on a second floor.
